Privacy Policy

Evantix is an event planning platform operated by Gottumukkala Kishan, a sole proprietor based in Narsapuram, Andhra Pradesh, India. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.

01What we collect

Data	Why
Name, email, phone number, profile photo	To create your account, show who you are to the people you book with, and let them reach you about a booking.
Location, and the city, district and state derived from it	To show events and venues near you and place your own on a map. Collected when you create or search for something location-based, never continuously in the background.
Events, bookings, listings, tenders and messages you create	This is the content of the app. Some of it is public by design — see section 03.
Payment references: UPI transaction numbers, amounts you report, screenshots you choose to upload	So a venue owner can match a payment you say you made against their own bank records. We do not process the payment.
Photographs you upload	Event and venue images, stored with our image host (Cloudinary).
Contacts on your device	Only with your permission, and only to find people you already know who use Evantix. Contact details are matched in hashed form; your address book is not uploaded.
Device and usage information	Basic analytics, to understand which parts of the app are used and where it breaks.

02What we do not collect

• No card numbers, bank credentials or UPI PINs. Venue payments happen in your own UPI app, directly to the recipient.
• No background location tracking.
• No sale of personal data, and no advertising.

03What other people can see

Some things are public because the app cannot work otherwise.

• Public events — title, description, images, date, time, location and organiser name, visible to anyone using the app. Mark an event private and only the people you invite can see it.
• Venue and service listings — visible to anyone, including whatever contact details the owner chooses to publish.
• Your public profile — name, photo, service roles and service areas, if you offer services.

When you make a booking, the other party sees your name, phone number and the booking details. They need it to contact you about it.

04Who we share data with

We use third-party services to run the app. Each receives only what it needs.

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, notifications and analytics. Data is stored in Google's India region.
• Cloudinary — image hosting.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim and Google Places — turning addresses into coordinates and back.

Nobody else, except where the law requires it.

05How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. Bookings, events and payment records are kept after they end, because both sides may need to refer to them — a dispute about money that changed hands is the obvious case. If you delete your account we remove your profile and personal details; records of transactions involving other people may be retained in reduced form.

06Your choices

• Permissions — location, contacts, photos and notifications are optional and can be revoked in your device settings. Parts of the app will not work without them.
• Corrections — edit your profile in the app at any time.
• Deletion — email support@evantix.in and we will delete your account. Section 06 covers what is retained.
• Access — ask us what we hold and we will tell you.

07Security

Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored on Google's infrastructure behind access rules that restrict who can read what. No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

08Children

Evantix is not for people under 18. The app involves bookings and payments between adults. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18 we will remove it.

09Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and significant changes are notified in the app.
